Axial fans

Industrial fans

Low pressure axial fans are suitable for the transportation of big volume of air and are used for the aspiration of air and smokes, both in industry and civil environments.

Axial-flow fan with light alloy die-cast impeller with wing-profile blades – Single flange ducting drum – Directly coupled motor

EVP            V =1.350÷10.000 m3/h          Pt = 4÷60 kg/m2

Use: suitable for sucking in smokes, as well as vitiated, dusty and wet air in the foundries, cement factories, paper factories and joinery works.

For the aeration of local rooms, for drying paper, wool, pasta tiles in the application to radiators, unit heaters, cooling towers, etc. and generally where it is necessary to transport big volumes of air with low pressures.

Minimum working temperature – 20 °C, Maximum + 60 °C.

CONSTRUCTION FEATURES:

Drum of pressed steel sheet with one perforated flange for anchorage to walls or between pipings, complete with a plate for supporting the control motor. Diecast rotor in light alloy (spark-proof) with blades dynamically balanced, assembled overhung on the motor’s shaft.

The rotor’s blade angle is adjustable when the fan is stopped for the types from 710 to 1400.

The air direction is from the motor to the rotor, (it is always possible to invert the airflow, i.e. from the rotor to the motor, by inverting the rotation of the motor, by disassembling the rotor and reassembling it overturned).

Accessories on request. Counterflange – Counterflange with accident preventing net according to UNI 9219 standards – Automatic opening shutters with the passing of the airflow.

Axial-flow fan with light alloy die-cast impeller with wing-profile blades –  Double flange ducting drum – Directly coupled motor

EVF           V = 1.350÷120.000 m3/h          Pt = 5÷80 kg/m2

Use: suitable for sucking in smokes, as well as vitiated, dusty and wet air in the foundries, cement factories, paper factories and joinery works.

Transmission-drive axial-flow fan with light alloy die-cast impeller with wing-profile blades – Motor placed outside the ducting drum

EVc               V = 2.400÷150.000 m3/h             Pt = 6÷70 kg/m2

Use: suitable for the suction of fumes and for contaminated, dusty and damp air.

This type of fan is mainly used in the spray booths where it offers a considerable safety guarantee against the danger of fire due to the particular construction with rotor of spark-proof material and the motor anchoraged on the outside of the fan.

Minimum working temperature – 20 °C, maximum + 70 °C.

CONSTRUCTION FEATURES

The outside structures of pressed steel sheet with double perforated flange for anchorage between the pipe, complete with base for placing the transmission. The drive motor placed on a bracket with a bealt stretching device on the outside of casing.

Diecast rotor in lighy alloy (spark-proof) with blades dynamically balanced, assembled cantilevered on the transmission shaft.

The air direction is from the rotor, (it is always possible to invert the airflow, by inverting the rotation of the motor, by disassembling the rotor and reassembling it overturned).

The connection  to the motor is done by means of a pair of sheaves controlled by V-belts.

Accessories on request. Counterflange – Counterflange with accident preventing net according to UNI 9219 standards

Axial-flow fan with 6 BLADE ALUMINIUM impeller– PAINTED STEEL FRAME – GALVANISED HUB AND STEEL PROTECTION  SCREEN

EVH/S             V = 350÷16.000 m3/h                Pt = 0÷40 kg/m2

For exhaust smokes and stale air, to aerate public premises and, in general, to convey low-pressure air wherever required. These devices are equipped with a painted steel frame, a 6 blade aluminium impeller, a galvanised hub and steel protection screen, and a single or three-phase asynchronous motor. Operating temperature: min. 20° C – max +50 ° C.

The air flows from the motor to the impeller (A); but it can also be reversed, on request (B).

Accessories on request: the S type gravity shutters, consisting of a stainless steel casing and aluminium fins, are pushed open automatically by the air flow generated by fan during operation. They’ll close under the force of gravity when the fan is turned off.
